PETS ON-MOUNTAIN DURING WINTER DOG POLICY • With other resort guests’ experiences in mind, please be sure to have your furry friends on a short leash and under control at all times. (The Dog Park, adjacent to the West Village parking lot is the only authorized off-leash area at Mt. Bachelor.) • Please leave aggressive dogs at home. • ONLY Service dogs are permitted within buildings. • Dogs are not permitted in food service areas. • Dogs are not permitted to ride the chair lift. • Use the bio-degradable poop bags provided as a service to you and your pets. Please throw out the bio-degradable poop bags after using them for their intended purpose. Garbage cans for disposal are located in the West Village Base and Parking Area. • Due to frequent weather change, we recommend you do not leave your dog in an unattended vehicle. Please do not leave your pets tied to your vehicle while you ski or snowboard. PETS ON-MOUNTAIN DURING THE SUMMER: • Dogs are allowed on the Pine Marten chair lift during the summer months, only if they are fitted with an owner-provided full body harness capable of safely supporting the animal’s weight in the event a lift evacuation is required. • Dogs are allowed on approved hiking trails only and must remain on a leash that is 8 feet or less.
