55The host is wonderfully accommodating! He had a chair and table set out with a water bowl, sticks, poop bags, and even a wash station upon request with hot water and a tub! The yard isn’t huge, but is really peaceful. We didn’t see any neighbors/dogs etc. he had his dog inside with all the blinds closed. We will definitely be back!!!Sergey K.

55This place is so peaceful! We brought our two dogs, one of which is a reactive dog, and it was a very pleasant experience. They had neighbors on the opposite side of the house so my reactive dog was very calm and got to enjoy sniffing around without barking at sounds. The yard was completely fenced in, not huge but big enough for playing fetch. There was water and doggy bags available. I brought the family and we had a great time, they didn't even charge me for exercising my 4 year old. Highly recommended!!Sergey K.

55I really liked the yard that my dog got to play in. It was about the size that I needed to give her some good running space, but it was small enough to app walk end to end easily. Bruce left some water out for my dog and had poop bags available, which was really considerate. The property was on a quiet street. All in all a nice experience.Sergey K.

55This sniffspot was a wonderful retreat for our reactive rescue! We had a blast sniffing, running, and playing in this quiet, serene yard. Our reactive pup loved all of the space and different smells from the wooded area right next to the fully fenced yard.
The hosts provide water, a seat and small table, and poop bags and a trash can. It might seem like a small gesture but we thought it was so nice, thoughtful and convenient! They responded quickly to the reservation request, with easy directions!
The drive was beautiful and easy to get to. This is a nice escape from the congestion and noise of the metro area. We would highly recommend this spot, and we will definitely be returning!Sergey K.

55Loved the fact that after all the rain the footing was not muddy. My reactive dog loves this space. There are some blackberry vines toward the edge of the property so if you have a dog that scents into vines you might be careful. Owner has been helpful when she has people coming back-to-back. She let me come a few minutes early so I would be out of the space before the others arrived.Sergey K.

55Good spot for some exploring and very open for running and playing fetch with a big dog. Much of it has a nice little incline to help wear them out. Is nice and grassy. Owner was kind and very accommodating when there was a mix up. Will be going again.Sergey K.

55My Golden Retriever had a great time running free on this fully fenced large piece of property. The owner has five acres and I would guess the fenced portion we were in was about 3/4 of an acre, plenty of room for a large dog. There were trees on the property, but plenty of open space for ball throwing, etc. We look forward to going back for another run!Sergey K.

55This spot was perfect to accommodate my runner with an open grassy area and my sniffer to explore all the wilder outskirts of the property. The owner was friendly and helpful in app meeting us for the first time and pointing out different aspects of the property. They had some big dogs which they kept separate so my reactive guy could relax and enjoy the smells. I imagine some parts could get a little muddy in the rainy, NW winters but I'm sure we will be going again as long as its available.Sergey K.

55This is an expansive property with lots of grassy space to run around, plus trees to sniff! The host was extremely welcoming and friendly. We called her when we turned on to her street so that she could direct us to the house (it’s tricky without specific directions). It’s actually in Duvall and not Woodinville, so it was definitely a hike from Seattle. However my pup and I loved our time there so much, we’ll definitely be back. It was perfect for my reactive dog because there were no people, animals, or even any sounds around! A peaceful & beautiful day.Sergey K.

55Soba had an amazing time playing fetch and sniffing around at Stephanie's spot. Stephanie's spot is accessible to Seattle, but feels like it is in the middle of the forest. It is in an area with large plots; Stephanie's is 5 acres and heavily treed so it is very private. Stephanie has cleared out a two acre area that is fully fenced and grassy. It has a low slope, but would be a great place for training or playing fetch or just exploring. Looking forward to coming back!David A.

Frequently asked questions about Carnation dog parks
What amenities do private dog parks in Carnation offer that public parks don't?
Carnation private dog parks offer amenities you'll never find at public facilities: swimming pools for water-loving dogs, agility equipment for training, climate-controlled indoor spaces for year-round use, hiking trails on private property, and secure fencing customized for different dog sizes. Hosts provide poop bags, water stations, toys, and even dog wash stations. Ranch Setting is especially known for exceptional amenities. Every Carnation listing shows exactly what's included—no surprises.
Are there fully fenced private dog parks in Carnation?
Yes! Most of Carnation's 199 Sniffspot locations are fully fenced. Use the "fully fenced" filter to find secure enclosures with detailed fencing specs: height (4ft, 6ft, 8ft+), material (wood, chain-link, vinyl), and gap information. This is crucial for escape artists, puppies learning boundaries, or reactive dogs who need contained space. Carnation listings show fencing photos so you can verify security before booking.
How clean are private dog parks in Carnation compared to public ones?
Significantly cleaner. Public dog parks in Carnation are maintained by overworked city staff and often littered with waste from dozens of dogs daily. Sniffspot hosts in Carnation maintain their own spaces and take pride in cleanliness since it directly affects their reviews and bookings. Many Carnation hosts provide fresh poop bags, empty trash regularly, and sanitize water stations. Plus, with only one booking at a time, waste accumulation is minimal. Check reviews to see cleanliness ratings.
What types of dog parks can I find in Carnation?
Carnation has 199 diverse options: fully fenced dog parks for specific training activities, small dog parks for different environments, and dog water parks for varied experiences. Want a backyard for simple off-leash time? We've got it. Need acres of trails for hiking? Check. Looking for water access or agility obstacles? Available. Browse by park type to see what matches your dog's interests, then filter by location within Carnation to find convenient options.
Can I book Carnation dog parks on short notice?
Usually yes! Many Carnation Sniffspot locations offer same-day or next-day availability, and most bookings can be made instantly without waiting for host approval. Unlike public dog parks that might be crowded during peak times, Carnation private parks let you reserve exactly when you need them—early morning before work, midday breaks, or evening exercise. Check individual listings for real-time availability and booking policies.
Do Carnation dog parks have water access?
Many do! Filter Carnation's 199 locations by amenities to find dog parks with swimming pools, natural ponds, creeks, or beach access. Water features are perfect for Carnation's hot summer days or for dogs who love to swim. Each listing specifies water type and depth, plus whether it's safe for swimming or just wading. Some Carnation hosts provide life vests or shallow kiddie pools for water-nervous dogs.
Are there indoor dog parks in Carnation?
Yes! Carnation has climate-controlled indoor options perfect for extreme weather, rainy days, or year-round exercise. Indoor Carnation locations typically feature rubberized flooring (easier on joints), artificial turf, or padded surfaces. They're especially popular for puppy training, senior dogs needing gentle surfaces, or reactive dogs benefiting from enclosed environments. Filter by "indoor" to see Carnation's covered and climate-controlled options.
What's the best time to visit dog parks in Carnation?
With Sniffspot, any time works since bookings are private! Unlike public dog parks that are crowded during peak hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends), you don't have to worry about timing in Carnation. Book whenever fits your schedule—midday when public parks are empty, dawn for cool weather, or late evening for convenience. Many Carnation locations have lighting for after-dark visits. The flexibility is one of the biggest advantages over public parks.
