"For my love of the Husky breed, I followed via Facebook a 501c3 public charity, the Husky Halfway House (H3) which is a pack leadership-based Husky rescue organized in Oklahoma. I was attracted to the organization’s mission, commitment, and dedication to the rescue, rehab, vetting, rehoming, and transporting of “at risk” or “death row” Siberian Huskies from puppy mills, shelters, and abusive situations. Owner/Director, Jenni Dietsch’s heart is clearly outlined in her vision and guiding philosophy. She seeks to create social change and social return on investments. Jenn is precise about how she will turn her purpose and motivation into concrete accomplishments. To confirm my attraction, I opted to use 2 of my corporate granted volunteer days and 1 vacation day to travel 12 hours from Atlanta, Georgia to Eufaula, Oklahoma to volunteer for a total of 3 days at the H3 in October 2022. Upon arrival, I was introduced to her staff and Huskies, and witnessed her day-to-day operations, which confirmed that my fundraising/volunteer efforts aligned and supported my passion for this breed. I also requested the U.S. Bank Foundation to match my monetary gift/fundraiser and provide a donation for my volunteer time for H3 pledges that 100% of the donations go to maintaining the facility transparently and to the care, vetting and housing needs of 250 rescued huskies onsite waiting for their new homes. I also didn’t want to depart without adding Professor, a 5-year-old male to my pack of 2 senior Huskies. Professor lives up to his name for he is a teacher of the highest academic rank in “Huskyism.” I highly recommend H3 for Jenn personally insured Professor had a loving, and qualified home for she was readily available for questions and/or visits. Adopt, donate, and volunteer … till they all have forever homes!"

They have given up much to help save these precious animals. She is strong with a heart of gold and we are so thankful that her group saved our boy and so many others."
